Please contact Scott Anderson to sign up for the January 6 -8 trip to Mammoth. This is a drive up trip and we and should be loads of fun. Even though Mammoth right now is lacking real snow, they have made tons and tons of snow that isn’t too bad. And the group always has fun. Your check is your reservation and it is first come, first served. Trip policy info can be found here Come join us on Saturday, November 12, for our annual Progressive Dinner. Our evening begins at 5:00 p.m. at our first host home, and from there our private bus chauffeurs us to three more stops as we complete our meal. The fun is free; the cost for dinner, drinks, and transportation is only $30. First, RSVP to Kristin Ehret and mail checks payable to LPSC to Kristin at her address. When your payment is received, your RSVP will be confirmed and instructions will be sent to you via email. Come join us for an evening of fun! Come join us our last BBQ of the summer at the General Meeting on Thursday, October 6, 6:30 pm at: Pierpont Bay Yacht Club1363 Spinnaker Drive Ventura, CA 93001 The club will be providing Burgers and Chicken and please bring an appetizer, snack or dessert to share. We will be planning our ever popular Progressive Dinner. Also, we will discuss potential dates for Mammoth Ski Trips. It is suppose to rain here on Tuesday, so that means a good chance for snow at Mammoth this week and the start of the ski season! Hope to see you! The Los Padres Ski Club beach party will be on Saturday, September 24th at 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM (ish). The location is at the end of Greenoch Lane, Ventura. The club will provide coffee and bagels in the morning and cold cuts, bread, lettuce and cheese for lunch in the afternoon. Everyone is to bring a side dish to share, their own beverage, beach chair, umbrella and towels. At this meeting, we will be discussing the Fall events and potential dates for winter skiing. Hope to see you there! A heads up that the next General Meeting will be 6 pm on FRIDAY, August 5th at Ebell Park, 7th and Main Street, Santa Paula, CA. We will be going to see the car show and to have a BBQ, picnic. The club will provide burgers and chicken. I will get there about 4:30pm to reserve a picnic table. and will try to remember to bring a club banner. Bring your own chair, a side dish to share, and BYOB. We will be in a public park, so discretion is good, such as can covers and generic cups for other beverages. So mark your calenders for the different date and location. Join the Los Padres Ski Club in a fun, easy paced bike ride from Ventura to Carpenteria this Saturday, June 11. Meet at 9:00am in the parking lot behind the Museum of Ventura County near intersection of Santa Clara Street and Junipero Street, one block east of Ventura Avenue.
