The Ventura Harbor Parade of Lights is the weekend of December 15th and I will be able to host any LPSC members who wish to join the PBYC in viewing the parade from the clubhouse. All you will need to do is let me know you plan to attend and bring a snack to share. More details will be provided later.

December General Meeting – December 6th, 7:30PM
This is a heads up that our annual Los Padres Ski Club Christmas General Meeting and Gift Exchange is Thursday, December 6, 7:30 pm at the Pierpont Bay Yacht Club, 1363 Spinnaker Dr, Ventura Marina. This will give you plenty of time to find a ~$15 gift for the gift exchange which is always loads of fun.
We will be taking sign-ups for our winter trips, details of which can be found at https://lospadresskiclub.net/?page_id=156. Scott Anderson is the trip coordinator for the Jan trip, Evonne Peterson for the February trip and Maggie Hood for the March trip.
November General Meeting – November 1st *7:30 PM*
We have switched to our winter hours and the Los Padres Ski Club General Meeting is 1 hour later on Thursday, November 1, 7:30 pm at the Pierpont Bay Yacht Club, 1363 Spinnaker Drive, Ventura, CA. There is no BBQ, but we will be taking sign ups for our winter trips and will have a raffle with some fun prizes!

Far West Ski Associattion Convention in Reno – June 6-9 2013
The L. A. Council of Ski Clubs is encouraging LPSC club members to attend the Far West Ski Association (FWSA) Convention in Reno, and is offering a free registration for every 6 members that sign up. See the attached flyer for details.

October General Meeting – October 4th
Come join us for the last summer BBQ meeting at 6:30 pm, Thursday October 4 at the Pierpont Bay Yacht Club. We will be serving burgers and chicken, so come early and bring a side dish to share.
Remember your checkbook so you can sign up for the Progressive dinner on October 27, which is always a blast. When was the last time you got to visit 4 home in one night and drink wine on a school bus?
We will also be announcing our winter Mammoth trips! So please come and join us.
Progressive Dinner 2012 – October 27th
This year our annual Progressive dinner will be on Saturday, October 27, featuring a Halloween theme, and costumes are encouraged.
LPSC member price is $30 and guests are $35. Members have priority signup until October 1st, and guest signups are welcomed after that.
Your check is your reservation, and it should be mailed to Maggie Hood. Please make your check payable to LPSC, and definitely include your phone number and email address.

September General Meeting – September 6th
The LPSC monthly meeting is this Thursday at 6:30 at the Pierpont Bay Yacht Club. We will be serving up an Italian feast of various pastas, so please bring a salad or garlic bread or maybe some veggies, and of course, some gelato for dessert. We will be discussing our famous Progressive Dinner, our winter trip to Steamboat Springs, an evening at Circle Bar B, happy hours, and lots of other good information.
