Last Chance to Sign Up for April Ski Trip

We have many people signed for the April 15-17 Mammoth ski trip and will be making condo reservations soon.  If you wish to go on this trip, please contact Tanya by April 1st to sign up.   Remember, your check is needed for a reservation.  There is PLENTY of snow at Mammoth and more to come, and some folks are planning to stay into the following week.

Free Concert In The Park – July 27th

Fellow LPSCer’s – Let’s make the 3rd time the charm by actually showing up for a “Free concert in the Park event” ( the last 2 showings were rather poorly attended). We’ll meet with a picnic dinner/libations in hand at 6-6:30pm at Camarillo’s Constitution Park (Carmen drive and Paseo Camarillo) on Saturday night July 27th. The concert starts at 7:30pm. The band will include former members of Journey, Boston,Santana, Steppenwolf, and Lynard Skynard. I will stake out a place somewhere on the Park grounds with our LPSC banner. Bring your beach chairs, a light blanket and sweater (as it does cool off after the sun goes down), and picnic dinner, and a smile on your face and get ready to have an old time Rockin and Rollin Good Ole Good Time. This one should really be fun!! See ya there!

A Walk to the Seal Sanctuary Overlook, Tar Pits and the Salt Marsh on May4th

Join us for an exploration of the Carpinteria beaches and saltmarsh. We’ll meet at Viola Fields Park (6145 Carpinteria Ave., Carpinteria) at 10am then walk north toward the Seal Sanctuary Overlook. And, hopefully see seals frolicking on the beach (the babies are sooo cute) and then onto the tar pits.

Afterwards, a walk back down Sandy land Rd to Linden Ave.for lunch.

Details are in the attached file. If you have any questions, please contact Kathy Kunz

Mammoth Trip – March 8th – 11th

It is snowing again in Mammoth and we have room on our 3-day to Mammoth. We have reserved the condo for 3 nights: Friday, Saturday and Sunday night. So for a change, instead of leaving early to drive home on Sunday, we stay until Monday and leave after we are done skiing on Monday.

Cost is only $152 per person, so for only $32 more you get to ski an additional full, uncrowded day at Mammoth. Trip coordinator is Scott Anderson, cc’d above. So email him or call Scott and let him know you are going to go. Remember, your check in Scott’s hand is your reservation and it is first come, first served.

This will be a fantastic trip, so call Scott now so we reserve enough condo rooms!
