Save Tuesday, April 16 for our next Thank God It’s TUESDAY (TGIT). We are trying Tuesday (but still keeping the TGIT moniker) for our next LPSC HAPPY HOUR at Bright Spark Brewery from 4PM -6PM . They are located at 4561 Market St, Ventura, CA 93003 , in a large complex where you can wander around and see the fermentation tanks. We are hoping to get a private room, if not we will be in the tap room. No need to RSVP just show up. There is plenty of parking.

Bright Spark features more than hand crafted beer; wine, cider, and other special drinks are available. They also have a nice selection of food, including Bar Snacks, Sandwiches, Burgers, Salads and Pizzas. Check out their menu at https://www.brightsparkbrewing.com/menu.

On March 21, 4 – 6 pm, we are heading to the beach for LPSC TGIT Happy Hour at the Aqua Beachfront Bar, Crown Plaza Hotel, 450 E Harbor Blvd, Ventura, CA 93001. Valet parking for 2 hours is free. 

We can’t make a reservation, but Rebecca will get there early, hopefully, to secure one of the outdoor sitting areas near the fire pit. Raining? She’ll be inside. Best view in Ventura of the ocean while sipping on a drink.

They offer $3 off appetizers, which are listed as Sharables on the menu (see menu).

Rebecca is having us revisit a popular site for our next TGIT, Prime Steakhouse and Wine Bar, 2009 East Thompson Blvd, Ventura, CA on Thursday, January 18 from 5 – 7 pm. Prime Steakhouse’s famous happy hour features small plates and specialty cocktails. Small plates include:

Just like last year, we are having our December TGIT Happy hour at The Greek, 1583 Spinnaker Dr #101, Ventura, CA 93001 (In the Ventura Harbor). The TGIT Happy Hour runs from , 4:00- 6:0pm on THURSDAY, December 14th. After the Happy Hour, you may wish to stroll along the harbor and check out the festive decorated Boats!

We’re trying out a new location for TGIT Happy Hour on Thursday Nov 16, from 3:30pm to 6:00pm and it should be great fun! Meet us on the inside patio at BJ’s Restaurant & Brewhouse in the Oxnard Esplanade shopping Center. BJ’s is located off of Oxnard Blvd across the freeway from The Collection at 461 W Esplanade Dr, Oxnard, CA 93030, in front of Home Depot.

BJ’s has a super Happy Hour Menu including:

• $5 Draft Beers and Wines,
• $6 Margaritas and Call drinks, and
• $7 Appetizers (Sliders, Avocado Egg Rolls, Pot Stickers, etc) and Mini Deep Dish Pizzas.

My daughter and I love to go there for happy hour then shop for bargains at the nearby Nordstrom Rack, T J Maxx, and World Market. We look forward to seeing you there!

Cost is $12.50 single kayak and $20.00 for a double.  It is easy and lots of fun!

Sea Fresh is right next door to the kayak center and has a nice selection of drinks and food. You don’t have to kayak to meet us for TGIT!
