WHAT: COMEDY CLUB SHOW & DINNER
PRICE: $15 FOR SHOW AND DINNER IS FREE. YOU ARE EXPECTED TO ORDER TWO DRINKS, EITHER ALCOHOLIC OR NON-ALCOHOLIC DURING THE SHOW. THE PRICES ARE REASONABLE.

WHERE: VENTURA HARBOR COMEDY CLUB IN VENTURA MARINA
THE EVENT: Free food buffet by Milanos Restaurant begins at 7:00. We will meet inside the club at 6:30 at their new bar so we can get a decent table. Tickets are $15 and you should order yours either online or by calling them ahead of time since this is a popular event and can sell out due to the FREE FOOD! There are five comedians and it is taped for TV so they are putting on their best show.

WHERE: SOCIAL TAP – located on Seaward between Pierpont Blvd and the beach.
NOTE: good happy hour but special prices end at 6. Parking can be challenging so be patient and you will find something

We will decide on which movie or movies to attend that night. I will have the schedule for the Oxnard Century 16. They have good parking there and discount prices for seniors (65+ I thinK). Movies usually start between 6:20-7:15 so if you’re late we’ll be gone.

April General Meeting – April 4th 7:30PM

Our General meeting is Thursday, April 4, 7:30 pm at the Pierpont Bay Yacht Club at the Ventura Harbor. This is an exciting meeting as we will be taking nominations for the board of directors, including President, Vice President Secretary, Treasurer, Membership, Social, Long Trips and Short Trips. Being on the Board is fun and it gives you a chance to help steer the club in new and exciting adventures. No qualifications are necessary, just a desire to help out and make sure everyone is having fun.

As I have been President for sometime, now, I have no problems with some else taking this leadership role and allow me to instead be want of the supporting positions. Change is good!

So bring a snack to share and come enjoy the meeting.

Mammoth Trip – March 8th – 11th

It is snowing again in Mammoth and we have room on our 3-day to Mammoth. We have reserved the condo for 3 nights: Friday, Saturday and Sunday night. So for a change, instead of leaving early to drive home on Sunday, we stay until Monday and leave after we are done skiing on Monday.

Cost is only $152 per person, so for only $32 more you get to ski an additional full, uncrowded day at Mammoth. Trip coordinator is Scott Anderson, cc’d above. So email him or call Scott and let him know you are going to go. Remember, your check in Scott’s hand is your reservation and it is first come, first served.

This will be a fantastic trip, so call Scott now so we reserve enough condo rooms!
