Ski season has started and Mammoth has snow!!!! We need your commitment for which trips you are going on so we can reserve Condos while they are available. That means we need your check as that is the only way to reserve a place on the trip, and we cannot reserve condos without your paid reservation. So please bring your checkbook to the next meeting. Trip dates can be found on our website.
Finally, remember to bring a snack to share!
We’ll be meeting at the Pierpont Bay Yacht Club for a potluck dinner and the annual Parade of Lights. Maggie will be opening the PBYC Bar at 6 p.m. Bring a dish to share, while we enjoy the festivities of the evening.
1. A reminder that we will have a gift exchange at the next General Meeting at 7:00pm Thursday, December 3rd, at the Pierpont Bay Yacht Club. If you wish to participate, please bring a gift valued at about $15 and make sure it is something the recipient will enjoy. That means please spend a minimum of $10 to purchase this gift and NO white elephants. The gift exchange is always lots of fun, especially with the steals!

Goodland Supper Club, formerly Circle Bar B, will be performing “A Christmas Carol” at the Timbers Restaurant, 10 Winchester Canyon Road, in Goleta, to be held on Sunday, December 6th. It’s “Noises Off” meets “Monty Python” in skirts and is very British. Lunch will be served at 1:00 and the performance starts at 2:00. Tickets are $45.00. We are anticipating a great turnout from our members (and non-members too) so I need your reservations as soon as possible as seating is limited and as of now I have 18 commitments. They will hold only 30 seats for us, for a limited time, so I need you to please send your checks to me, Stephanie Brasacchio as soon as possible. I need payment by November 12th – and please note that seating can only be reserved with payment in full. Looking forward to seeing you all there!
TGIT will be at the Crowne Plaza Hotel’s Aqua Bar on November 19th. Happy hour is from 4-7.
The Pierpont Bay Yacht Club and Los Padres Ski Club are having a joint Pre-Thanksgiving Pot Luck DInner to celebrate the holidays and enjoy each other’s company. Turkey and Ham will be provided.
Please RSVP to Jeff Heath so we can get a count and know what you will bring. Jeff will ensure we do not end up with 20 pumpkin pies. This is a chance to do a trial run of your favorite stuffing, potato dish, vegetable creation, appetizer, or dessert.
